The work is constructed not from the danced form, but from the bodily sensation, which is used as an initial motor that the dancer then transforms into movement. The language that emerges on stage is very direct and full of emotional meaning. El Abrazo is the desired bodily caress, the presence of the other that arrives and does not arrive, that is there at times and then leaves. The music was created for El Abrazo as an original sound piece and is performed live.
